Reports & Subgrades

PG Grading is proud to provide all submitters with Sub-Grades and Grading Reports FREE with every card that is graded, meaning no extra cost to see why your card graded the way it did. Simply scan your graded cards QR code on the back of your PG label or go to Card Lookup – PG Grading and type in a cards serial number at the top. Please note that reports have been recorded and are available from serial no.84500 onwards.

Centering

Centering scores are measured separately and then calculated as an average. For example you may have left to right centering that scores 70/30 and top to bottom centering that scores 60/40. Therefore the overall centering score would be 65/35.

Surface Imperfection Markers

Our imperfection markers are accurately placed to help you locate and identify minor imperfection that are less than obvious to spot.

Corners

Corner imperfections are highlighted in red (see image above). These markers indicate a corner that either has a minor or major imperfection that has effected the grade. The more red markers you see, the more likely that your corner sub-grades are effected.

Edges

Edge imperfection markers are only placed when a less than obvious imperfection is identified. Obvious imperfections are not highlighted with markers but are still reflected within your edge Sub-Grade score.

Grader Notes

In many cases our grades may wish to leave additional notes as to why a card has been graded the way it was for further clarity and submitter understanding. This field can also include extra information such as highlighted card errors and booster pack weight.

Population Report

Every card we grade is recorded onto our unique database. This lets you know where your card stands within our rankings amongst other versions of the same card that we have previously graded. You can view the population report on its own here: Population – PG Grading
