Our team, like many, have a huge love and passion for the beautiful game. Although our main focus is Pokemon, sports card numbers are increasingly growing here at PG grading.
Signature Sports Cards
As signatures whether on-card or strip are pre-authenticated by the card manufacturer, this means we’re able to focus purely on the condition of the card and the autograph. A separate grade to the card condition and autograph will be applied with our dual grade scale ranging from 1-10. Please note that we do not grade cards that have been autographed unless witnessed by PG Graders or card manufactures.
Numbered Sports Cards
The holy grail of sports cards. Many collectors chase the ultimate chance of owning a 1/1. However, for most of us mere mortals, a card out of /500 is still something to brag about. We offer full authentication for numbered sports cards as well as feature the card limited number directly onto the label.

Sports Trading Card Grading FAQ's
The honest answer is, yes, sometimes. The higher the raw value a card has, the more likely that you will increase your cards value providing it grades ‘Near-Mint to Gem-Mint’. We always recommend grading cards that have a raw value of at least £40 if you wish to try and increase your cards value.
PG Grading has decided to stop encapsulating thicker sports cards. This service will resume once we have designed a bespoke case/holder for these amazing cards.

Yes, only signatures that have been pre-authenticated by one of our accepted card manufactures. This applies to both on-card & on-sticker autos.
Our Standard Label is Dark Blue & Gold should your card achieve a GEM-MINT 10 grade. A 3-Point Colour Matched Label makes your label match the three most dominant colours on each of your cards.
Yes, absolutely. If a card is authenticated, graded and protected, it will appeal much greater to potential buyers. Grading is proven to increase buyer confidence on the second hand collectors market.
Yes. Most collectors grade their cards purely to authenticate and preserve their cards current condition. Trading cards have proven to increase in value over time, so it makes sense to ensure your cards are fully protected from any future potential wear and tear. The difference in even the slightest minor flaw on a particular card can gravely affect the future overall value. So before you buy more cards, protect the ones you already have.
Cards must be placed within sleeves along with plastic toploaders or semi-rigids.
